  Wow! Black tie gave us excellent skis and snowboards and their service was outstanding. We had different lengths of rental of equipment and Black tie picked up whenever we needed. We highly recommend Black Tie ski rental and plan to rent with them next time we return to Big Sky.

  I’ve used Black Tie at other resorts before, so I thought I’d give them another try. The initial delivery and fitting were fine (although come to later find out that they put my wife in too long of a ski making her experience on the slopes more difficult). The problems began when we needed to exchange a helmet (it did not fit my daughter). I was told it would take a couple of hours to get a new one (we were at the base ready to ski at that time). Fortunately, my helmet fit my daughter and she could go to her lesson. I waited at the base for an hour for a replacement helmet before I could get on the slopes. What I previously have mentioned happens. I was not upset at this point. What really disappointed me is what occurred on our last day. We rented a condo about 0.5 miles from the base (not an easy walk with equipment). Our friends had just come into town and we were looking forward to some Apres after a day of skiing. I called Black Tie to see if they could meet me at the base to pick up our equipment. The answer was no (Thanks Hanna...and you really need to work on your customer service. When I spoke with you, you sounded like I was inconveniencing you.). So while my friends were enjoying themselves, I made multiple trips, 3 I believe, to carry our ski equipment back to the condo and waited for Black Tie to retrieve the equipment. Do yourselves a favor. Rent your equipment at the base. (they provide free overnight storage too, and if there is an equipment problem, they are right there!). Because of this experience, I’ll never use Black Tie again.

  These guys are great. After the airline lost our bags on Friday night when we arrived they came to the rescue. We called right as they were closing and they had skis at our door the next morning. On time, very knowledgeable, and great service. Couldn’t ask for anything else!!

  Was easy to review options online and make a booking. We then had a minor debate about a discount voucher which was quickly sorted via a phone call, and the delivery, fitting and pick up could not have been simpler. Competitive prices and saved us a ton of time and hassle....brilliant!

  used black tie again for the third time last week. they were punctual, actually early. I had boots, so was just getting skis. while the other two times ive rented they have brought multiple pairs to choose from, this time brought only one for me and some for the wife that were incorrect. I decided to try the ski they brought and it was perfect for the conditions. I have skied four different skis this year, and the Black Tie selection was perfect. the skis brought for my wife were the incorrect size, but they had some others to accommodate. wife had issue with boots on the mountain, so we called and Black tie met us at mountain base with multiple alternatives, got her set and back on the mountain. fast service, had a 20% off coupon, so pricing was great. I cannot emphasize enough how great it is to have our skis brought to your home and picked up. will use again and highly recommend

  This is our third time renting with Black Tie, first time at Big Sky. It's super easy to make equipment reservations online and equipment delivery was on time and top notch. All equipment was in great condition, particularly the ski boots were VERY comfortable. As an extra, Austin walked us through the ski map, giving us the insider tips on where to go to have a great vacation. We will only use Black Tie from now on for all our ski equipment rentals.

  This was our first time using a ski/snowboard delivery service. We will never fight the lines at the ski rentals anymore!! The kids loved how fast and easy the process was for delivery and pickup. We will use them from now on!!

  My family has used Black Tie Ski Rentals for several years now, and my experience this year has made me a lifetime customer! With the premium package, I was able to rent my favorite pair of skis to date during our stay in Big Sky, MT. Despite trouble with my boots during day 2 of skiing, a team member was able to meet me at the base area in person to exchange my boots for a better fit less than 30 minutes after I called. With pick up of gear at the door and a great customer service approach, Black Tie makes renting an easy experience!
