We went on the RPT 10/21/2021. It was with out a doubt the best tour we have ever taken. Derek was fabulous, not only knowledgeable but a comedian as well. Lots of great information and lots of laughs. We will definitely to this again when we come back to Portland MAINE.

Whenever I visit a new city, I always do a tour…and I have done many, both in the US and abroad. This tour rates right at the top! There can be no better guide than Derek, born and raised in Portland and splitting time as tour guide and working at a local Community College. It is evident that he loves his home city and that he knows it inside and out. We got a history lesson and a ton of random facts…and a rap song at the end! We toured the city in a small, comfortable bus and had stops at three light houses. Informative and entertaining…loved it!

Great information delivered in a humorous way by a local that grew up in and clearly loves Portland. Nice 20 minute visit at the Portland Head Light, and another short stop at the "Bug Light" house. Old Port and city tour was full of local history facts and personal stories from Derek (the tour guide and owner of this one man company). Highly recommended!
