Hotels in San Antonio were so expensive I stayed here. This Hotel is better than “Motel 6” and similar to “Super 8”. If you have an 18 wheeler there is no room to park. A large U-Haul will have to park in the front. It is possible to get a large U-Haul with a trailer into the front parking lot. However, the front parking lot cannot be seen from any of the rooms. Therefore, I would be concerned about the security of my personal belongings. This hotel is shaped like a square with a pool inside the square. The rooms inside the square face the pool and experience a lot of noise due to pool activity. If you want a quiet room, choose one outside the square, not inside the square facing the pool area.

This hotel is in desperate need of cleaning. The carpets were filthy throughout the building. The pool was so dirty you couldn't see the bottom of it. The only breakfast was a microwaveable sausage and biscuit, and they were old.

I initially gave it too high of a rating before I had gone to find/use facilities in hotel. I know because of Covid normal serving of breakfast was diminished. But besides coffee, juice & granola bars, more food items could have been offered. Example - bananas, apples, packaged muffins, cookies, milk, etc. We've had that in several hotels along the way on this trip. Also when I went to get ice this morning, the ice machines on 3rd & 2nd floors had none or were not working! I finally tried machine on first floor by pool interest that had ice. But it's dumb to have to go searching for ice! The amenities of this hotel were very poor.
