We all enjoyed our trip to Tijuana. Mario was very accommodating and very reliable. Right from the start, he has answered all our questions and inquiries about the trip. During the Day trip, he has provided us enough information about Tijuana! He was also very punctual, he was on the meeting point earlier as scheduled. He has a pleasant personality, that makes the trip more fun. We would do it again with him if given the chance to do a Mexico trip in the future.

This trip in a private vehicle driven by an experienced traveler to Tijuana was safe and comfortable, and full of history and details about Mexico. Our tour guide is a university professor who was a fountain of knowledge and intimate experience that made this tour a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The visit to La Playa was a delight, and the food exceptional. I would very definitely recommend this tour to anyone and everyone!!!

Mario did a great job guiding us and our friends through the history, culture, and sights of Tijuana. We have lived in San Diego since 1984 and been to Tijuana several times, and we happy to see so many new places and learn things about the city we never knew. I can highly recommend Mario's Tijuana City Tour.

What a great way to cross the border and see Tijuana! Mario gave inciteful comments on all the stops, the food and beer we sampled was great and the shopping was fun as well. I highly recommend visiting Tijuana with Baja California Wine Tours!

We had a great time. Mario was wonderful. Showed us everything we wanted. Was so knowledgeable of the history of Tijuana. Beer and tacos were so good. My favorite part was the visit to Friendship Park. Have been on the other side but was meaningful to see the Mexican side. Thanks Mario. Can't wait to go on the wine trip!

Wow! I can’t say enough about Mario and the tour we had in Tijuana! I was a bit nervous about traveling south of the border with everything going on these days, so based on the reviews, I booked a private day tour of Tijuana with Baja California Wine Tours. So glad I did! Mario was a fantastic guide in every way! He is incredibly intelligent, well traveled, knowledgeable, a careful driver, funny, kind...I could go on and on. Even with Covid and a few attractions being closed, my family and I spent a fantastic day in Tijuana. We were able to see the city, the beach and the historical part of town. Our taco lunch was fantastic and the server even went next door to get a special beer for me! The tequila and beer tasting was fun. The next time I am in Southern California, I hope to do a wine tasting tour with Mario!

Whenever my family and friends feel like having an adventure across the border we always look to Baja California Wine Tours. Mario, our host, always puts together amazing itineraries based on what we are looking for. This time we asked Mario to give us a hybrid tour were Tijuana and Puerto Nuevo were included. He did not hesitate to comply and he also added Rosarito to our tour. So it was a three in one private tour. From beginning to end Mario took care of the details and gave us lots of valuable information regarding the region and Mexico in general. He is not just a fun and professional guide, he is a historian. The amount of food was great! Tacos, tostadas de ceviche, lobster, churros accompanied by margaritas and craft beer. We also were treated to live mariachi music. Before heading back to SD we walked the curios market and bought souvenirs. What an awesome day! Mario is the man!!
